• Making it spacious: your first plan in any design and remodeling of a home recreation area is to make it spacious. Too often home rec rooms are setup is cramped areas of the basement or attic. That doesn’t give enough room area to give you a beautifully designed rec and entertainment room.

• Sitting area: what can you note about the sitting area? Is it the comfortable sitting – oval coffee table – or the world globe that make the backdrop. It’s a nice area for conversation and entertainment.
• Wood floor: the wood floor ties everything together – wall color – coffered ceiling – billiard table – home bar – window treatments – and the rug for the playing area.

Final Observation:

no question that this is a fancy-styled recreation room. Maybe too fancy since recreation rooms are to be enjoyed by the entire family. This is a room you wouldn’t want your children to play in. So maybe something a bit less formal will be something to consider. But there are some ideas above that you can incorporate.
