Beef is one of America’s favorite meat consumptions from juicy steaks to the famous American hamburger. But the question is – where do these favorite meat dishes come from – the cow of course – but where on the cow will the butcher go to serve up your favorite beef cut?
No question that some beef cuts are more expensive than others. The reason is because of tenderness and taste.

Understanding Different Beef Cuts:
The different butcher cuts of the cow include steaks, roasts, ground beef, stewing beef, and more. A typical cow will produce approximately 440 pounds of beef, with half being ground beef and the other half in varying cuts.

- There are other parts of the cow that also provide benefits. The hide can be used to produce leather coverings, shoes, and belts; the hair for paint brushes; bones and organs for pharmaceutical products; and other cattle by-products that we consume and use frequently.
