It seems so long ago …

  • It has been 78 years ago today when on the early morning of December 07, 1941 the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor that brought the United States into World War II. Yes, it was a long time ago; but December 7th has become the Day of Infamy as we take this day to remember how costly wars have become.
  • Soon this day will fade away as many of the generation that witnessed or lived during this period pass away. All that will be left are the monuments and pictures that sparked fear in a nation as tyrannical governments overran and conquered peaceful nations.

  • So we should never forget – though war has become more technological in execution. But the evil designs of governments do not change. And if we forget the sacrifice of many who gave their lives, we unfortunately can repeat history.
  • So take a moment to reflect. Keep days like today in memory to honor those who fought and died so that we may say never again.
