analysis: photo image analysis: When Redesigning Your Kitchen

What do you see in the image above?

Notes:

• Country Styled Cabinetry: what sticks out most when you view the image are the kitchen cabinets. They are rustic looking with a washed out, streaked brown color – very common in country-styled kitchens. The cabinets blend perfectly with the room color and wall background.
• Tray Ceiling: note the ceiling – one of the focal points as you enter the kitchen. The tray ceiling gives the semblance of height to the kitchen. And they used ceiling spot lights to illuminate all points throughout the kitchen.
• Dual Kitchen Islands: the kitchen has two dual islands – 1) first island for kitchen food prep; 2) second island for sit up kitchen eating. And note how the two islands are positioned; makes easy access for food prep and serving. And both islands have storage space for kitchen items. Very smart layout.
• Can You Find the Refrigerator: it’s a guess. But we believe it is hidden behind the two large panel doors that either slide or pull out. This setup gives you a nicer looking kitchen without a bulky appliance. But that doesn’t appear to functional. Who wants to pull open a door to pull open the refrigerator for your breakfast milk?

Final Observation:

the kitchen area is not huge – so the designers planned extremely well to fit everything in without taking up much space. Kitchen islands are great work spaces that make cooking more enjoyable. And consider how you can use your ceiling to give the perception of more height.
