Groundhog Day – winter or spring?
Notes:
- February 02 – tomorrow – is groundhog day.
- We must go to Punxsutawney PA to witness the event – when a groundhog will predict either 6 more weeks of winter or early spring: google map punxsutawey
- February 02 is when they will pull a groundhog out of it burro – if the groundhog sees its shadow, then we can expect 6 more weeks of winter.
- If the groundhog fails to see its shadow, then early spring can be expected.
- But for many of us, winter is still 6 weeks away – so go ahead and celebrate Feb 02 with some groundhog cookies and treats: view recipe
